Sarah Couture is an Indianapolis-based interior designer focused on creating fulfilling spaces with soul. Sarah started Sarah Couture Design in January of 2024 after more than 25 years in clinical, leadership, and consulting roles in the healthcare industry. A lifelong designer, Sarah has been developing strategic design solutions and creating fulfilling spaces for decades for family and friends.
In addition to being a registered nurse and healthcare compliance expert, Sarah has added to her credentials more formal training in interior design, including a diploma from the international Interior Design Institute and is working on completing a Graduate Certificate in Planning and Design of Healthcare Environments and a Master of Science in Interior Design, both from Ball State University. Sarah is an active member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA) Chicago-Midwest Chapter and is the chair of the chapter’s Indiana Regional Subcommittee.
Based on her business strengths and years in corporate leadership, consulting, clinical roles, and interior design, Sarah has developed a simple process to ensure the best design results:
Client needs alignment → strategy + creativity = innovative and tailored interior design solutions
The result? We create fulfilling spaces that have soul – thoughtful, intentional environments that reflect who you are.
Sarah is married to a pastor and lives in Indianapolis, Indiana. She and her husband have four great kids, a great daughter-in-law and two golden retrievers. Sarah loves to travel, sew, camp and enjoy the great outdoors, and can’t get enough of British movies, literature, and periodicals (and tea). She helps with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at her kids’ school, is an annual volunteer at the IAPP Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl and volunteers for a week each summer as a nurse at a Christian camp.
