Ground Floor Renovation of 1950s Home
TRADITIONAL WITH A TWIST
DESIGN BRIEF
A married female with two pre-teen children wants to modernize her entire first floor. The current floorplan includes rooms that are isolated from one another. The client enjoys cooking but feels isolated in the kitchen. The family does not require a formal setting for entertaining as they prefer family-oriented occasions.
The client would like the home to be redesigned to include an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen. She would like to have a first-floor laundry and wants to ensure there is a designated place to study on the first floor.
